Everything is a work in progress, until the progress stops. That's life. ( A decade in review)

I remember when the biggest concern I had in the world was dying in y2k, and even then I was skeptical at the prospect. 10 years have passed since that day, and much like I thought at 2000 I stare into the gaping maw of a new decade and wonder what will happen next. This is my shorthanded, and undoubtedly grammatically incorrect view of the past 10 years.

2000 started not with a bang but a whimper if you'll permit me to reference T.S. Elliot in such a manner. Given the perspective of the years in which I stopped being a boy, and grew into a man one could say that the world of boyhood, and innocence in which I had originally lived did in fact come to a close over the later half of this decade we soon end. But I'm perhaps being overly verbose in a time in which that is not needed.

I was not much more then a 13 year old boy can be, I had little to no clue what I would do with my life, I smoked pot, and drank. I was anti-social, and typically did these things alone. I'd later compare my youthful self (proving that I'm still as diluted as a child in most respects) to the young Voldemort; villainous to anyone who had less power then I did, and overly charming to those that had more, or at least charming to those that had what I wanted. I was spoiled, as most of us that are lucky enough to call ourselves "the youngest child." are. I was overly resenting of that, I remember wanting to actually feel like I earned something in my life, I was willing to lash out at my parents and peg the blame on them for being foolish, and while I don't change my view that spoiling me as a youth was foolish, I now have the understanding of why they did it. Simply put, they loved me. Something to which I was blissfully unaware of.

I will be the first to tell you I don't remember much of my youth, when I look back on it, I remember mostly being quite bitter towards everything, not willing to shoulder the responsibilities that life would soon be planting upon me. My life was spent sneaking out, hanging out with my older brother, drinking, and playing video games. I had always had a knack for making people laugh, I still do (which will inform later years.) That was my life, it was always as simple as: drink, hang out, meet new people, say good bye to people moving forward. Not even September 11th changed my pattern in life. I thought nothing of it, I was a child, even if I was a remorselessly fickle child.

I cannot deny, had it not been for Evan Price, Steven Eadie, and Dale Green on more than one occasion I would have probably ended my life. They held me responsible for my actions, which was something I had barely had to do until then, but it was something more than that. They respected me as an equal, which up until that point in my life I had never known of. 2000, to 2003 showed me nothing more then the things most people learn in the first 10 years of their lives, how to acceptably interact with other people in the world, and for what I learned from my friends, we formed a bond which was as close as family. I sometimes thought my parents resented it whenever they could see it, so I kept away from them.

It was in this time that I realized I was bisexual, which I acted upon one time, and then subsequently did not for another 9 years, As much as I'd love to be as raw and honest for you all here, I cannot deny that somethings are just better left untold, if only to the world at large. However I was happy with one secret to myself, I had girlfriends, I was selfish with them too, and for those that I had dated in the past, know that I am sorry for such a child having been your chore to deal with. I must have been annoying.

I wouldn't change a single bit until the summer before my 11th grade year. I decided to try and live my life without as much bad influence in it as I had before, I had a strong group of friends, I was feeling confident, surrounded by people that had my back, and was far more adept at social interaction then you could imagine. I will never forget Mr. Koch's drama class. I went into that class probably as normal as I had ever been (considering how I am now, I look back and can tell you I was woefully off course to being normal, which is overrated, and underestimated) and that was the class in which I met two people that would end up changing every single bit of me, they would tear me down and build me into a far more well put together human being, and all it cost them was a broken heart, and half a decade of struggling to keep a friendship working for one, and the absolute hatred of me in another.

Rachel Richardson would it turns out, be the one who hated me. I found out far too late to make things right, that when your me, hiding things becomes a huge problem. At first I shamefully admit I only dated her because her friends told me to, when she and I would date later in 2009 I would realize what I had known the first time, we would be better off as friends, ironically I miss her friendship, though I have no right to ever speak to her again, and I shall not talk to her unless I am absolutely forced. She deserves that much, for teaching me so much in 2009 about being responsible, being adult. I will not forget that which I have learned, if only for the cost of learning it.

Liz Rearick however brash, and forward as she might seem, chose to fall in love with someone as off kilter as her, and I fell for her as well. I had originally thought I knew what love was, as we all do at the age of 16, we all think we know far more then we actually do, but now I can tell you beyond reasonable doubt that while I may not have at first known what love was, I have eventually found it with her, she is my best friend in the world to this day, and I hope that this next decade doesn't change that fact. Love, as it turns out, means you must suffer for each other in some moments, something to which Liz and I would cause each other to feel quite a great deal of up until 2008 when we finally grew out of it. We both claimed we were even. Typical of us to make something as serious as destroying each other's lives sound childish, but a true test of our friendship that we are still as close today as we have ever been. I don't regret most of it, I would hope that when she looks back she doesn't either, it gave the masses something to be distracted by, and I think at that point in our lives we couldn't have maintained a friendship without that kind of TV show like on/off attitude. I do wish to stress that I have no more romantic feelings for her, we are just absurd amounts of close.

This year I learned what may be the last important lesson of the decade from a young Kelley Brewer, I learned that I cannot keep being as selfish towards my girlfriends, or more realistically any partner I have. I wasn't as wrong to her as I may have been to Liz in the past, but that doesn't change that I was being a heel, and though I apologized for it, I couldn't change it so easily, so things fell apart. In the coming 10 years I should hope that I remember what I learned, and not let it fall into the habit that humanity makes of distorting memories to portray myself as a tragic hero, I was not. Granted she was no saint either, she slept with one of my best friends, simply because she could. Something I will also remember, a fact which makes it clear that I won't ever speak to her again, and my friend will forever be kept at a distance from anyone I date.

I started doing stand up comedy shortly after I moved back into my parents house in 2009, and have since made a proud ass of myself for now a year and two months. I have moderate success with it, if only because I have a natural charm about myself. I've only ever met one stand up comic I don't like, and even he isn't that bad. As far as the comedians I've met go, I can honestly say that I feel like I'm in the right place when I do comedy, it feels like the right thing to do, and even when I decided to not do it, I still wrote jokes, I couldn't wait to get back to it, I know what I need to do with my life, at least I know what I love doing in life, and would like to be doing it anyway, a huge leap forward from 2000, in which I only knew I wanted to make people laugh for a living because it was and I quote "the only thing I can do without trying. So its my talent or whatever."

I left so much out of this, but I feel these are the most important facts of this decade, these will be some of the memories of the past ten years that will stick with me forever. I would love to thank all of you who were there for me in the hard times, and all of you that read this, be it just this post, or the blog traditionally. I'll never tell you how much kindness I truly have buried in my heart, because I prefer the cynical approach, but rest assured it means quite a great deal to me that you were there, even if you were causing me problems. Its not me that makes my life, you people out there, you keep me going, either with encouragement, or by angering me and making the desire to show you up exist. To tie it back to the front, I shall end this with yet another hallow men quote.
"Life is very long, Between the desire, And the spasm, Between the potency, And the existence, Between the essence, And the descent Falls the Shadow, For Thine is the Kingdom, For Thine is Life is..."

Your life can truly be anything you want it to be, if you want it badly enough.
I hope your next decade is exceptional, with every day being better than the last. I sincerely mean that world.

BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!

Christmas is coming up (I've been busy looking for a normal job, and blah blah blah, making music, getting people to agree to come and talk, and doing stand up, and writing jokes, and working on a comic I'm making, and Wow... I do alot for a guy who's "Unemployed.") I'm also working on trying to get some of that sexy free health care obama is dishing out (I might not exactly agree with it, but I'll take what I can get in this life, and give back when I can) So I regret that I let this fall behind on nerdy updates and audio ones.

So at the very least here's a dose of nerd.

Elder Scrolls V will use a whole new engine.

I refuse to play Black ops. Its modern warfare all over again, at least halo has some decency to make the game different enough to keep me interested, and deal with cheaters as cunts who piss me off.

Rock Band 3's pro mode controls are FUCKING INTENSE! and I love them. The songs are pretty good, and blah blah blah.

Fable 3 just sets shit up for the 4th one (though I didn't play alot of it, I just sorta skimmed through a few levels, then watched the ending) it controls enough like the last one so your not learning the ropes instantly, but gives enough growth to allow for a learning curve, and brings enough new challenges and elements in along the way to keep you busy and entertained.

Two new Dorito games are on XBL: Arcade (easy gamerscore raise) And last I checked, they were free can't beat that. Here's a youtube video about them.

You can vote on which is better, and then the game that wins earns the creators money and the chance to produce another game under Doritos, so go play, get some easy achievements and have some fun. Also... Vote.

Well kids that's all I've got time for today, working on a christmas episode for this podthing. Hope it goes well.

Peace,
-Rob

A regular normal blog post.

Happy Thanksgiving (eve) Biggest bar night of the year my friends! I hope you are all safe tonight, safe in the more or less "condom" "birth control" kinda way. Also maybe don't drive drunk.

This little image next to you is alas referencing something in real life.

I've never watched Buffy.... Deal with it.

Also they are apparently planning on doing a new Buffy without Joss Whedon. A movie reboot of Buffy could be entertaining, but I've been trying to catch back up on this Joss Whedon fellow, and I'm quite delighted to find anything he touches turns to gold.

What's your thoughts on this world? Should Mr. Whedon have his say in what made Buffy the Vampire more than just a movie featuring pee wee herman? BUT ONE OF THE GREATEST THINGS EVER?! (Apparently... I've never seen it remember?)

IN OTHER NEUS! I want you all to hear this cat Unicorn Kid. His beats are ill, and all that other rap lingo.

New Kanye West Album is out, I give it a 3.5 out of 5. The songs I liked on it I really liked, the songs that I didn't really care for still had enough charm to keep them on my iPod for a few more weeks. Good Job Kanye, I finally forgive you for... Oh wait, I didn't care about anything you've ever done except your music... Well good job on the music.

No Comedy Minutes this week because its thanksgiving and I wanna wait out the whole N. Korea V. S. Korea thing before I make any comment on it, but lets at least say that world war 3 isn't on its way, so stop over reacting.

Finally I will tell you all What I am thankful of this year, its not much:  The few of you who read this, having (fairly) good health, and having some realization that there is hope for me to escape this hole of a state michigan.

But mostly I'm thankful to you few who read this, spread the word and let our numbers grow!!!! MUHAHAHAHA!

(Also if you've been neglecting, you can go hear teh pod-bert rob-cast by going into the links on the side.)

Also also, christmas is coming up, so check out my cafepress too :D

I hope you have a wonderful thanksgiving and don't get too stupid tonight ya'll Be safe.

Odd Question...

Do fucking LFO still do songs? Because that would be  HILARIOUS!!!

I love people that show me stuff.

Believe it or not people send me stuff to read, not just me looking for crap to show you. This is one of those things!

I hope you like it eh.

Also it seems that, though I am not 100% sure, two new game modes will be included in the scott pilgrim DLC. Both are a vs. mode if I'm not mistaken

Here are some games that I'm excited about coming out this month!

FABLE 3!
Rock Band 3!
That's really about it.

Granted Enslaved: Odssey to the West looks fun, I'm a little sketchy about it, Here's Gamespot's review.
ReViEw!!!

I'll Review Dead Rising 2 as soon as I play it, in the mean time I'll post a audio thing later today! With a guest, as promised.

So much drinking you'd think I was in ireland.

The Enemy of my life... Totally beer.

I have self control around this stuff. However it totally helped out lately. Had friend issues and we had to drink until we could talk about it.... Well I had to drink or I wouldn't be comfortable talking about it. When I first started doing this blog I mentioned I had relationship troubles. This week was that whole issue finally coming to a close, and putting shit right.

So don't judge. its been a busy week. X_X And not busy in the I have something cool to show you kinda way sadly..... I just noticed there is blood on my hand... intense... 0.o

There are some cool things I have seen since last we were together (most of them are halo reach related... Yeah.)

First up I hope you like old halo maps, like Guardian (halo 3) Or  Damnnation (halo 2) because thanks to forge world people are totally making those maps again, and we really need to get some custom games going

The other two things that are halo related aren't found by me, but I have in the reach racer part at least noticed one of the two unlocks.

This is Reach Racer!

This is how to go to the club, and make people actually dance!

The Tribute Room

The Chief in is in reach too, but you can look that up yourself.

Have fun playing around nerds

love
-Rob

Thursday, September 16, 2010

Oops.... Missed a day.

So Halo Reach is mostly to blame for that. That and I went to watch Scott Pilgrim (again) WHICH IS WAS STILL AWESOME!!!

So. To the Video Game Reviews!
First up is DJ Hero 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its basically the exact same game with a few extra features that might make it worth picking up. Aside from the obvious inclusion of a whole new list of songs, there will also be the addition of a microphone. Its kinda fun to sing the mix of two songs at once, Alas you feel a bit silly sometimes. Anyway you can try the demo for youself and see. (Pending you have the DJ hero Turn-table of course or at least a microphone from GH or RB.)

Speaking of Hero games I do fear that Activision made a weird choice in the new Guitar Hero, simply by trying to include a plot.... Yeah... Also you can earn way more than 5 stars a song.... and your characters can turn into a "Warrior Form" with added benefits while playing the songs... I dunno. It all seems like a bit much for a damn Guitar Hero game. I do like most of the set list  Check it here I can't help but think that The guys over at Harmonix and who ever is behind that Rise of the six string game have it right by making an actual guitar playable in the new game it just seems like the next logical step is to get kids actually learning to play the guitar, not make pre existing characters into super heros. (Most Characters I might add, that Harmonix had originally created)

Finally.... We're to Halo Reach. Game of the Year? Almost certainly. Think about every thing that you loved about halo over the years, now take some of the interesting elements from modern warfare 2, and throw them in for good measure, make forge into a a giant world where you can literally make five different little maps on it or one HUGE map spanning the whole thing! Bungie threw everything into this game and you can bet over the next few years they'll continue to throw more in. Honestly 343 studios may as well disband, because its gonna be absurd to try and top this halo game. To see everything I can't even put into words Check out bungie.net

Gasp. That wasn't much. but what can ya do? I'm drawing a few comics up, testing my scanner's ability to continue to do this. (for some reason it won't scan the whole page of the newest... well page. even though it all fits on the scanner screen)

What can ya do?

So while I'm working on that. You go play reach! (its epic.)

the game!

Dickipedia

Okay other than this comic book like intro to chapter 1 existing, I'm super uber excited about HALO REACH! I may record some audio stuff while in line just to put it up here.

Who knows eh? There are a few fun things I found online this weekend but before I talk about that.

Dead Rising 2: Case Zero is fun. Though I didn't play it on my xbox... Which blew.

Right now you can download the demo for DJ Hero 2 and some new Guitar Hero warriors of rock demo or whatever. I dunno what is going on with that yet, but I'll let you know tomorrow.

I'll also have to talk about Reach tomorrow, so it'll probably be a video game review day tomorrow.

Anyway! The first thing I found was the SModimations.

They are just animated clips of the Kevin Smith Podcast... AND THEY ROCK!!!

Next is a new Garfunkel and Oates song! Which is hilarious!

Okay, other than the newgrounds video game version of that terrible movie the room (Check it here)

I can't really think of much nerd goings on. Oh yeah! My car is fixed :o

Anway that's all really.

see ya tomorrow!

If you want to do it, don't give up.... Like this blog/occasional podcast thing I do. I want to do this. I make a point to update Mon-Thurs as much as possible, showing nerd stuff to those that wanna see it, I put those shirts out for cats that wanna buy them, and blah blah blah.

Even on busy days I post something whenever I can. :/ I throw something together real quick for ya'll, and I appreciate that you guys read! So enough blabber about how life is full of moments that knock you down, and its the getting back up part that's important.

In the mushroom kingdom oil in the gulf is mostly from blooper orgies.

I finally decided what kinda tattoo I'm getting. (though not where)

Other than the triforce I'm totally gonna rock the atari logo! Just look at it.
Its not the worst idea ever! Granted its not the best either... its better than 3DO's logo as a tat though... Anyway. I'm finally decided that I shall get the tattoo that I make jokes about as being the perfect tattoo. Which you will see if I get it, if not... Well I make jokes about it. So eventually you will hear about it.

Anyway, in interesting news, I bought the first two Scott Pilgrim books... And read them both in less than an hour. But whatever....

The only reason this is being posted today instead of me doing an audio is because I'm too flaberghasted to actually talk about anything except this.

That would be duke nukem forever.... OH SHI-
It apparently is going to come out next year... Lets hope eh?

2K games and Gearbox? This could be awesome...

here's actual game play from PAX 2010!

Whenever I look at the moon in the day, I think of the power rangers.

Sweet fug! (trying to throw out words that are new, and sweary sounding)

I haven't done a Robbism in awhile! As far as this thing goes.... Yeah.... It just looks silly,  Yeah I actually did it once, and its hilarious.

Actually looking back at the old pictures I forgot about those huge ass sideburns I used to have.... Hell thats weird. Also that was right when I first got my glasses... Damn time flies...

I almost feel like this blog is the most productive thing I do now a days lol. Granted I do alot of other things lately, but that's a comic book and joke writing, it doesn't have instant results, I like doing them, but they feel less productive then this. Which is very weird. Apparently today is all about me feeling like a wuss bag? F-That! LETS TALK NERD SHIT!

A Garfunkel and Oates song for you sassy assholes. That is about Lost. Its a fun mix of nerdy, and funny. My two favorite things ever!

Oh yeah. That's super awesome. You can check them out here
Garfunkel and oates.com you can buy there songs on iTunes, and Amazon, you know... Most conventional online music purchasing locations.... Shut up.

Hey Speaking of buying awesome things online! Why haven't you been checking out Rob's Odd Shoppe? You should do that! Because it helps me out, and stuff.

Something else you may enjoy that's kinda obscure (and kinda not to nerds) but I'm reaching for a wider audience for things I like is The Guild! Sure tons of folk know about it but you might as well check it out here. The Guild!

And just to tease you a little here's the cast in a music video!

You can ALSO buy that song on iTunes, and Amazon, its pretty damn sweet

God I LOVE nerd culture.

Anyway that's all for today kids, I got a page or two I wanna finish of that comic (there is no way this is going to be the final drawing lol, its more like a story board ya?)

Enjoy the nerd culture I've drenched you in. Planning to go to comic con this year. And Ren. Fest is next monday, so I'll upload pictures of that for tuesday. DIG IT SUCKA!

At the 3:15 mark of the song digital love is something you'll laugh at.

What have the original power rangers been up to?

So David Yost... The blue ranger on the original american version of the power rangers talked to TMZ, either that or more likely of TMZ they just found out... Billy the blue Power Ranger is gay!

He left the show apparently because of people treating him as less then equal for being gay, not the cast he starred with, but the producers and editors and other people who will remain nameless for the rest of their lives, and die without ever having achieved fame. At least Yost did that.

This TMZ thing had me looking into what a few of the other rangers have been up to. So lets check this shit out!
  1. First and foremost, because this is the sad story, and I want it out of the way the original Yellow Ranger (Thuy Trang) Passed away at the age of 27 in 2001, this I already knew about, and was sad to hear of. All you need to know is that it was a car accident. And that shit is pretty sad.

Lets move on to a happier topic! TOMMY!!! the Green/White/ several other colors because he's been in so many parts of the greater series ranger! More or less also Known as Jason David Frank....

IS AN MMA FIGHTER NOW!!! HOLD THE PHONE! WAIT A SECOND!
Yup! That's pretty damn sweet! His debut fight he won, its the only fight in the big league he's got, I wanna watch it, and see if he busts out sabba and cuts a mutha fucker! Turns out he is a 6th degree black belt, so maybe fucking with him isn't the smartest thing to do. He also owns and runs a martial arts school

Okay!  Lets see, Walter Jones (the Black Ranger) did alot of voice work for the power ranger series, after he left the show, did some movies, was in season 4 of Buffy apparently, but had a DUI recently Which was thrown out as of  4/21/2010. Amy Jo Johnson (the Pink Ranger) Is on the show FlashPoint now... Go her.

Austin St. John (the Red Ranger) is now an author...Cool?

Well that's about it, The voice of Alpha 5 is still doing cartoons, (alpha-5 was also the voice of invader zim... so cheer up.)

and I don't care about zordon because he died to save the universe... Also alot of people played him.... Shut up! This was about the rangers only!!!

Hope you liked a look into the world that you left long ago friends! The rangers are still out doing there thang!

    Later!

Hey hey hey!

What's up gang? Not much going on here today (at least at this point there isn't)

So instead of thinking up something unique and fun I've decided to put a family guy episode up!

(yes it IS one of the star wars ones.)

Something, Something, Something, Darkside!

Oh I kid! There are a few other things I wanna share.

Here's something interesting! A webcomic called Questionable Content! Its very funny, and addicting to read.

Questionable Content

Lets not even forget to mention The Adventures of Dr. McNinja! The tale of an irish ninja doctor, with a gorilla, a little mexican boy with a mustache, and a raptor named yoshi... Yes... Yoshi.

and asl long as I'm sharing nerdy content... Remember Newgrounds? That's still there.... Doing its "thang"

Well I'm off to work on a plot for a fight scene.

I'll post random crap later

Don't forget to check out Rob's Odd Shoppe

Enjoy this odd drawing of lady gaga I made.

Tuesday, August 24, 2010

Okay, I've been drawing for what feels like days (four hours) and my hand is totally burned out right now, I'm really pushing alot into this... I wanna make this comic thing work, but I doubt that I'm gonna be able to draw it

WHICH BLOWS

Meanwhile It appears that everyone around town is starting to get super grumpy, as for why I don't know. Maybe its like when a human touches a baby bird, and the momma bird won't take it back, They smell texas on me, and don't want me here no more... What fail.

Also I've been kicking it pretty retro lately, playing alot of Virtual NES!

It's boss.

Dunno, just wanted to update real quick for no real reason.

Later!

Nerd Gear I want.

Check this shit! its called the Bliptronic 5000!

Sweet damn it looks cool, its an 8-bit synthesizer!

and yes... Though I'm not the best at making music, I do want it hardcore. This would be awesome to make some nerd rap and stuff with.

Its at ThinkGeek.com for $49.99 if you wanna pick it up yourself. I think I'm gonna have to pick it up myself.

Next up on this list is also from ThinkGeek.com (surprise) ITS A SHIRT THAT HAS A FLIPPIN GUITAR IN IT!

The Electrionic Rock Guitar Shirt is kinda like a Paper Jamz but AS A SHIRT!!!! I checked it on youtube, the thing plays well, and sounds good, so if you can play guitar, but seriously hate lugging the damn thing around with you pick it up for $29.99

Well That's all I really found that interested me as of right now, I'll post more nerd shit later or tomorrow.

Later!

The Walking Dead TV series Trailer!

Nerd gasm.

THE PRESIDENT WILL DRAW MY COMIC IN 2012

I made that ya'll! I dunno why I'm sharing, but maybe its because I'm self centered, (and its my blog)

CHECK IT! I spent 3 hours last night writing a plot outline for a comic, I'm not sure if I can make this thing via drawing but I'm totally gonna work on the script, I'm a nerd, and have been working on little comics and stuff since 2003, so expect nerd humour of the scott pilgrim vein.

Anywho! (I said humoUr?) I finally watched scott pilgrim! and I LOVED it. Every second of it was nerd heaven!!!!!! If you like nerdy things, then go for it! Make that magic happen, spend $8
dollars or whatever. I will just suggest that it is an awesome movie, and spoil nothing.... Take me at my word douche.

Ironicly one of my friends (who is a nerd) Saw naught but the trailer, and thinks the whole thing looks retarded...

Okay, enough comic book talk, lets get political! Apparently american people are starting to dislike their choice in Obama! Now what the frak is up with that? I remember alot of such talk about change, and being all supportive of him, and free health care, and the young people ALL VOTING!

So its kinda fudged up yo... Two reasons.

1. Dude, really... He's got 4 years, it hasn't been more than one yet... Why not give him some time? Stop expecting Obama to work wonder instantly. Believe it or not, alot of the stuff he promised takes alot of time to make it happen, meanwhile there are alot of, and I mean A LOT of escalating problems going on with the whole Iraq/Afghanistan war, and now Iran is trying to get into the mix... Give him a little slack.

2. Most of the people that I know that are complaining about him... VOTED FOR HIM!!!!! WTFUCK?! You lost your right to complain about the man, the instant you voted for him.

Hell most people only voted for him simply because they saw another old white republican, and then they panicked, then saw the young black (muslim?) man promising a shiny new economy and stuff of magic and wonder!!! Maybe you should have looked at the man a little more carefully.

Next topic! THE END OF THE FLIPPIN WORLD!!!

Keeping in time with alot of the kids who voted for obama, and are now unhappy, the same people all firmly believe the world is going to end in 2012.

I don't know what to believe, but I do know that most people younger than me seem to not care about doing anything in there life simply because they think that the world is about to end so what's the point?

I have a point.... What if it doesn't? What if it doesn't end? Remember Y2K? Remember 1997 with the hale bop comet sucicide cult heaven's gate? People thought the end of the world was coming then too.

I'm just saying, maybe lets not put all our eggs in one end of the world basket, maybe lets try to get the GPA up, and head to college, and chase after our goals, and dreams.

Why would you not wanna chase your dreams and goals? Why just say "what's the point? The world is just gonna end anyway!" Get as much of what you want done before its too late then!!!!

Ugh. Very ranty today. Sorry ya'll.

The game

I'm so old republic, that my cane is a lightsaber... What?

First and foremost! STAR WARS!!!! (uncut)

http://www.starwarsuncut.com/watch

Its totally awesome, and most nerds know about it already but its still fun to watch. For those of you that are less aware, its basically the entire star wars movie stiched together by fan made clips of it. Its pretty boss, groovy, and additional exclaimations of excitement.

Keeping in the star wars theme STAR WARS!!!!! The Force Unleashed 2 Mutha F^&@*!!!
Personally I'm not happy about this plot wise, but the gamer in me is all less than three on good star wars games.

Here's my problem sith heads. *SPOILER ALERT* If you can just clone a powerful ass jedi like starkiller, then WHY I ask you NAY! I DEMAND OF YOU! Did the Emperor feel the need to save young Anakin from death by retardation?

Did you see how many sith died in the prequels? Not to mention that Asaj Ventress just abandoned the whole deal.
Was it all just to get Anakin? Who he could clone as it turns out? WTFuck? Anyway I just suppose that he's probably not a clone, and blah blah blah.

This whole "Forced Unleashed" nonsense is no where near the first gaping hole of plot in star wars. *Cough Ahsoka Tano Cough*

So many fun things to mock star wars with that I can't even begin to end! But I totally will.

What can ya do?

Hope you enjoyed the star wars theme (Wait, aren't almost all my audio ones titled with a star wars reference?) Check out Wookiepedia for all your star wars info needs!

I'm hungry... Whatev's.

SUNDAY EDITION #@%)*%!*&^

Lets start off with a favorite quote (two actually)

“Some people never go crazy, What truly horrible lives they must live” - Charles Bukowski

"If you're going to try, go all the way. Otherwise, don't even start. This could mean losing girlfriends, wives, relatives and maybe even your mind. It could mean not eating for three or four days. It could mean freezing on a park bench. It could mean jail. It could mean derision. It could mean mockery--isolation. Isolation is the gift. All the others are a test of your endurance, of how much you really want to do it. And, you'll do it, despite rejection and the worst odds. And it will be better than anything else you can imagine. If you're going to try, go all the way. There is no other feeling like that. You will be alone with the gods, and the nights will flame with fire. You will ride life straight to perfect laughter. It's the only good fight there is."
— Charles Bukowski

I know that last one is long, but get ready and get set fuckers, because that basically sums up how I feel.

I feel alot like Bukowski had a window in my mind, even though he was alive for far longer than I have been even born. I really need to go back and read those novels... They actually might be the inspiration for who I am in general.

I miss Texas. I feel like I completely have nothing now that I've returned home, and I see that I'm rediscovering parts of myself that I forgot were there. My artsy side mostly, I've been working on music writing, drawing, making several new jokes, and sketches, among countless other things I've been up to.

At first I came back from texas and was kinda excited to see people that missed me, (all of which I haven't seen at all) and I'm actually glad that I haven't seen hardly anyone since I got back. It gives me the ability to work on things I want to work on, and even better I am off meds, yet feeling completely fine. As to why, to put it simple. I've given up on celexa because I just feel like I'm drowning when on them, or like I'm not completely checked in mentally while on them.

Like I'm here, but like my mind is running a different signal dig what I'm laying? (The color is a metaphor douche)

I notice so much more lately, subtle beauty in things you don't normally see, or maybe you do, but I just noticed.

Who knows?

MY Point! Things are going good, even though I initally felt as though everyone only wanted me back here just so I could continue to suffer with them.

The Lesson You Should Learn: Do what's best for yourself first always.

You know the deal.

If you don't know what some of the songs are I'm sure you'll be traveling to you tube right about now, or to itunes even.

Rock band 3 as we already know is going to rock a "pro mode" that eventually teaches you how to play a real guitar, drums, and keyboard. (totally stoked) That was really all I wanted to share today, other than the fact that I have been applying for better paying jobs, working on mah jokes for stand up, ect....

OH! Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep is coming out soon. here's a tease of that

Enjoy your day! Check out the cafepress and twitter, blah blah blah.
